Many veterinarians recommend pet sitting over kennel care so pets can maintain their diet and exercise routine and remain in their familiar surroundings. Pet sitting also eliminates the trauma of being transported and being exposed to illnesses or parasites in a kennel. Finally, pet sitting fees are often more affordable than kennels and your pet never has to leave the comfort of home.
The Pet Diva offers pet sitting in your home or barn, dog walking, pet transportation (to the vet, groomer, etc), horse care, and home check-in services. Aside from feeding, exercising and powder room breaks, we’re happy to keep an eye on your home and provide services such as bringing in your mail and newspaper, watering indoor plants, and alternating lights and blinds at no additional charge. Packages include two trips per day, but additional trips are available.
Providing medications
Your pet sitter can perform simple medication procedures on a "best effort" basis. Please contact The Pet Diva with your specific needs.
Yes, in fact this is one of our busiest times. There is a $10 additional charge per day (not per trip) on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. If you have planned a trip over Thanksgiving and will be gone Thursday-Sunday, the additional fee will only be charged on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day).
Mainly domestic animals- dogs, cats, horses, fish, caged animals, farm animals. Please call if you have a special request.
